...the Meisterkreis (Deutsches Forum für Luxus und Handwerk/German Forum for Luxury and Craftmanship) consists of 55 members, such as Hotel Adlon, Faber-Castell, Glashütte Original, Loewe, Montblanc, Porsche Design, Thonet as well as Weingut Robert Weil. It met up with the Comité Colbert (including, for example, Chanel, Guerlain, Champagne Bollinger, Château Lafite-Rothschild, Christofle, Hermès, Louis Vuitton) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Élysée Vertrag (Treaty of Friendship between France and Germany). Speakers included Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the Bundestag (lower house of German parliament) Dr. Norbert Lammert and Federal Minister Ronald Profalla, Chief of the German Chancellery.
